In-person Continuing Education
During the Covid-19 Pandemic

We know that after several months of online meetings, classes, happy hours and even weddings, many of us are looking forward to getting back to a little bit of normalcy. Like everyone, YogiAnatomy had to put the pause on in-person continuing education and our yoga teacher training.

After much info-seeking and deliberation, we’ve decided to carefully resume teaching some workshops and training in-person because we believe that what we teach is best delivered and learned as a sanga or community where we can share each other’s positive energy (but not microbes!)

In order for us to cultivate and support a sense of together, yet apart, we’ve made some policy and procedure decisions that will prioritize heath and safety. The following list is not necessarily complete, so if you have any specific questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email us at info@yogianatomy.com

  1. Space

    • YogiAnatomy will ensure that the host facility will be deep cleaned prior to usage using recommended cleaning supplies

    • Hand sanitizers and other cleaning supplies will be available for personal use during all workshops/trainings

    • High contact areas will be regularly sanitized

    • Yoga mats and/or chairs will be set-up a minimum of 6-feet apart

    • Class size will be limited based on national and/or state recommendations and type of facility

  2. Yoga Equipment

    • Participants will be responsible for bringing their own equipment to workshops/trainings (i.e. yoga mat, blocks, blanket(s), strap)

    • At some workshops/trainings, new blocks, blankets and straps may be available for purchase. Email info@yogianatomy.com to inquire.

  3. Covid-19 Equipment

    • All participants will have their temperature checked at the beginning of each day. Those with a temperature greater than 100.4 will not be allowed to participate in the workshop/training.

    • All participants will be required to wear a mask when arriving and leaving the facility, using the restrooms, selecting food and drinks for included meals, and during the lecture portions of the workshop/training.

    • All participants will have the freedom of choice regarding mask-wearing during all yoga practices.

  4. Assists

    • No hands-on assists will be provided during yoga practices, unless explicitly requested and all parties wear masks.

  5. Refunds

    • If YogiAnatomy needs to cancel a course due to state-mandated travel or assembly restrictions, all fees will be refunded in full.

    • If a participant needs to cancel for any reason, all but $20.00 will be refunded if notification of the cancellation is received at least 10 days before the workshop/training. Within 10 days of the workshop/training, no refunds will be made, however, the fees can be applied for a future workshop/training.
