Service Description
Whether you're a serious yoga practitioner or a relative novice, YogiAnatomy’s Teacher Training will give you the knowledge and tools to dive deeper into yoga and be able to set your own course whether it’s teaching yoga to groups or private clients, incorporating yoga into your patients’ plans of care, or jump-starting your own personal transformation. Our teacher training is unique not only because it incorporates the anatomy, physiology and healthcare knowledge of our students into every weekend, we also provide a long-weekend immersion-retreat to kick things off. Nestled away at a lovely Vermont Inn the surroundings and schedule allow for several asana classes and meditation. We will also begin our dive into yoga philosophy and learn about chanting, breathing and cleansing practices. Our time in Vermont allows us to come together as a Kula, a Sanskrit word meaning community – a group of people who come together freely, with intention and a shared sense of purpose. In addition, our teacher training is unique in that we will explore a yogic approach to Western medicine and will regularly investigate the therapeutic application of the practice and philosophy of yoga. We will begin the trainining with a weekend immersion at the beautiful Landgrove Inn in Southern Vermont, December 11-14, 2025. Weekend sessions will run from January - April 2026, meeting one weekend per month in Livingston, NJ. In addition, we we meet three times between our weekend sessions via Zoom. For specific information about dates, cost, and location please see the frequently asked questions (FAQ) menu. Questions?
